A simple decision checklist

01 · Context

Check the bigger picture

Look at the trend, valuation and data date. An oversold reading and a weak long-term trend can appear together.

02 · Confirmation

Wait for your setup

Choose what price behavior would support an entry. Several indicators derived from the same prices can repeat the same information.

03 · Risk

Plan the exit first

Set your position size, invalidation level and review timeframe. A stop can execute beyond its intended price when markets gap.
